I Got Tagged!

Collecting Tokens tagged me for this meme (what does meme even mean?) I wonder. Anyway, the job is to list six unimportant things about myself, and then tag six other people. Here are the rules, which I am posting here because it is a rule that you post the rules:

-Link to the person that tagged you.
- Post the rules on your blog.

- Tag six random people at the end of your post by linking to their blogs.

- Let each random person know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their website.
-
Let your tagger know when your entry is up

Soo…six random things about Olivia…1) Someday I wish to have an orange cat, which I will name Schmaltzy. That is Yiddish for chicken fat, I believe. This cat will ideally be sort of like Pumpernickel, only orange.

2) I just had three inches cut off my hair today. My head feels lighter.

3) At church, I volunteer for the only job that requires dealing with fire and eight-year-olds who ate Pop-Tarts for breakfast, and I love it.

4) When I was three I decided I liked pigs and that I wanted to play the violin. I don’t know why these are connected in my mind but they are, and to this day I still love pigs and play the violin. (eleven years next week!) When I was eleven I tried the piano and I didn’t love that nearly as much. But when I was twelve I tried French Horn and I do like that. So, who knows?

5) I am allergic to peanuts.

6) When I was little I always wanted one of those hats like sea captains wear. Don’t ask me why, I just did. I was a weird child.

So now I have to tag people. The first three are my friends; the last three I took a leaf out of Collecting Token’s book and chose from people who have used the tag, “randomness”.

Without further ado, I tag:

Gabrielle of Gabrielle’s Thoughts

Meagan of Cliffs of Insanity

Jennifer of Insert Title Here

Faz of Diary of a Girl

Daniel.Smyth of Daniel.Smyth

Sam of It’s My Life so It’s Mine to Make

You’re it!

Off to let people know they’ve been tagged.

  1. Thanks for playing along, and spreading the randomness!

I’m intrigued by item #3. This is an unusual job description…

I play the violin, too. Though I started as an adult. Congratulations on keeping at it for eleven years!

  2. Thanks from me too for playing along and spredaing the randomness.

Re #4: Did you equate the squealing of pigs with the sound of violins being played (badly) perhaps? ;b

  3. Wow I had no idea I’d been tagged. I guess I should go get on it. FYI I changed my blog to danielsmyth.wordpress.com

    Thanks!

  4. Alejena- Thank you! I’m in charge of the acolytes-they light the candles at the beginning of the service and put them out after. It’s fun. Except when they eat lots of sugar for breakfast and then get extremely hyper. Then….not so fun.

YSTL- I’m not sure…….maybe :-) There is nothing more beautiful than the sound of a solo violin, and nothing more hideous than the sound of a solo violin being played badly.

Danielsmyth- thanks for playing along! I tried to comment on your blog to let you know but it kept telling me the address was invalid *shrug*

  5. yea, sorry about that. i was creating a written blog and switching addresses around a bit. so the first one i had no longer exists but it still haunts the internet in some form. but my new one is here to stay. thanks for passing this on.
