I am a homeschooled teenager.

 I LOVE to read. My favorite books include (but aren’t limited to) Harry Potter, A Series of Unfortunate Events, anything by Charles Dickens, especially Great Expectations, The Westing Game, and anything by Agatha Christie. I also like CS Lewis, Madeline L’Engle, and the Charlie Bone books.The one book I started and never finished is Anna Karenina, by Leo Tolstoy. It was just so awful. I dislike John Steinbeck and Ernest Hemingway, too. I have a giant list of books that I want to read, including Livy, the entire Republic, and Mein Kampf.

So, besides books: I play classical violin pretty well (hence the URL; everything else I liked was taken.) I’m in orchestra and symphony orchestra, playing mainly first violin. I scored assistant concertmistress last semester, and my goal for the spring is to be concertmistress. I’m also playing 3rd horn in the symphony, and auditioning on viola on a dare. In band I play first horn and I get a lot of solos, but sometimes I force my stand partner to do them. My favorite composer is Antonio Vivaldi. (I thought Mozartgirl sounded better though.) I’ve done a lot community/church performances too, mainly accompanying choirs.

I like baseball. I’m a big Red Sox fan, which by default means I’m a Yankees hater. I have and will argue for hours about who’s better. On the other hand, I am probably one of the most athletically challenged people out there.

 My favorite subject is Latin, but I love science too (except chemistry). My least favorite is math. Not cause I’m bad at it, but it’s just so TEDIOUS! This year I’m taking trig, precalc, and Eculidean geometry.

I live in Pennsylvania in the middle of nowhere with my parents, whom I mostly get along with, and my brother and sister, whom I completely adore. I’m pretty strong in my faith (which is Kabbalah) (j/k!!!! it’s Christianity). I have been blessed with some of the world’s greatest friends, and I love them all. I try to post here a few times a week, but with FB I don’t always succeed. For Lent I gave up FB, so that’s why you’re not seeing me there.

My favorite food is spaghetti, although I’ll eat pretty much anything.
